You Must Be Born Again

Jesus said, "...you must be born again."

These words, "...you must be born again" were strong in my heart when I woke up this morning and I believe the Lord would have me share these scriptures.

John 3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Jesus said, "...you must be born again."

Jesus also said in John 14:

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Romans 10 tells us how we are born again:

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

and if you go on to verse 13:

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you will call on the name of Jesus today, and believe in your heart, you will be saved right that minute! You don't have to be in a church, or a prayer meeting, or some religious setting; you can be in your car, or the shower, or your living room. The spirit of the Lord Jesus will then be joined to your spirit and you become one with the Lord Jesus (1 Cor.6:17) and you now have the authority to become a son or daughter of God (John 1:12).

My friends, you will never regret it. Jesus is the one who can satisfy the longing soul, he is the only one who can. He will fill up all the empty places.

Jesus died for our sins, according to the scriptures, he was buried and he rose again the third day, according to the scriptures. That is the gospel and you can find that in 1 Corinthians 15. It is through the gospel that the Father provided everything we will ever need in this life--through the gospel we have assurance that we will spend eternity in heaven with the Father and the Lord Jesus. Call on the Lord Jesus today, call on that name!

The song at the link below, ministered by my friends, speaks to Jesus satisfying the longing soul.

God Bless,

Kathy
